Description

Develop and maintain point-of-sale systems, owning minor enhancements and leading technical execution to meet target timelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end handling of critical production issues, including monitoring and health checks.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve recurring application issues.
• Provide shift coverage during peak sales periods, tax holidays, and weekends.
• Own minor enhancements to support customer activities.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in relevant development roles.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL.
• Deep knowledge of UNIX (Solaris) systems and Unix Internals.
• Experience with Shell Scripting and Powershell for automation and system management.
• Familiarity with Retail POS systems.
• Ability to handle critical production issues and perform system health checks.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and managing recurring system issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI for reporting.
