Description

You will validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of Point of Sale systems across hardware and software.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document test cases for POS applications, devices, and integrations.
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing on POS software and hardware.
• Validate transaction flows including sales, refunds, discounts, loyalty programs, and payment methods.
• Test integrations with backend systems such as inventory, ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.
• Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing POS systems and retail transaction workflows.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, and Postman.
• Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Solid understanding of SQL and ability to query databases for validation.
• Familiarity with payment processing standards and financial compliance (PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Knowledge of ERP and CRM concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Exposure to mobile POS and cloud-based POS solutions.
