Description

You will manage and maintain PostgreSQL database environments to ensure stability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform PostgreSQL installations and upgrades, specifically with PPAS 9.4+.
• Plan and execute database patching and maintenance schedules.
• Manage database backups and implement disaster recovery and fail-over/fail-back procedures.
• Configure and troubleshoot replication, including BSR, xDB SMR, and xDB MMR.
• Optimize performance through query execution plan analysis and tuning techniques.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL administration tasks.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience troubleshooting database failures and performance issues.
• Hands-on experience with database backup and recovery strategies.
• Ability to manage complex replication configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field of study.
