Description

You will manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases to ensure performance, availability, and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain production database servers.
• Execute database cleaning, backups, and storage management.
• Monitor production systems and perform performance tuning on critical PostgreSQL instances.
• Manage database version upgrades and migrations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• 8+ years of experience with MySQL.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud database services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale production database environments.
• Proficiency in automated backup and recovery strategies.
