Description

You will own the administration, performance, and availability of PostgreSQL database systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL infrastructure.
• Manage database backups, storage, and data cleaning procedures.
• Monitor production servers and perform tuning on critical systems.
• Execute version upgrades and complex database migrations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 8+ years of general database administration experience.
• Experience with AWS Cloud database services.
• Proficiency with MySQL.
• Proven track record with database migrations and upgrades.
• Experience managing production database server performance.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate education.
