Description

You will manage and support PostgreSQL and MySQL database systems across development, QA, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain fully functional database clusters and high availability server solutions.
• Execute database migrations, upgrades, updates, and patch applications.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies, including data export and import processes.
• Perform instance, database, and query tuning to optimize application performance.
• Troubleshoot alerts, disk groups, and performance issues while providing on-call support.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing PostgreSQL and MySQL database systems.
• PostgreSQL and MySQL certified DBA status.
• Expertise in database/data design and architectural principles.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL programming and SQL.
• Proven experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) methodologies.
• Ability to maintain physical data storage, access, and security administration.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent users and medium complexity databases.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, HTML, and CSS.
