Description

You will manage and optimize PostgreSQL database systems to support application requirements and operational efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL database systems.
• Perform database tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor database performance and proactively address system issues.
• Automate routine tasks and lead database migration or upgrade projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration and engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of performance tuning, indexing, and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for database operations.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and high-availability setups.
• Deep understanding of database security, access control, and compliance.
• Proven experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree in a related field.
