Description

You will manage, optimize, and scale a multi-tenant PostgreSQL environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases to ensure uptime and performance.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and policy-based access controls.
• Manage database backup, recovery, and high availability.
• Automate schema migrations using tools like Flyway or Liquibase.
• Collaborate with developers on data access policies and application data layer needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Deep expertise in SQL, indexing, and analyzing query plans.
• Hands-on experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience managing databases in cloud-hosted environments, specifically AWS RDS.
• Proficiency with CI/CD workflows and schema versioning tools.
• Strong understanding of database performance monitoring and query health.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka.
• Exposure to OpenSearch.
