Description

You will manage and maintain PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle database environments. You will execute administration tasks, implement upgrade strategies, and handle migrations. You will support critical systems through on-call rotations and 24x7 production support within a global delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute PostgreSQL database administration tasks.
• Manage MySQL administration and implement upgradation strategies.
• Handle Oracle database administration and execute migration strategies.
• Support critical database systems through on-call rotations and 24x7 production support.
• Operate within a global delivery environment.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of PostgreSQL database administration experience.
• 3+ years of MySQL database administration and upgradation experience.
• Experience with Oracle database administration and migration strategies.
• 4+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, or equivalent progressive experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Richardson, TX, Hartford, CT, Indianapolis, IN, Phoenix, AZ, Tampa, FL, or Raleigh, NC.
• Willingness to travel within the US.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and CouchDB.
• Experience with Cloud-based database services such as AWS RDS and Aurora.
• Experience with Database CI/CD integration.
