Description

You will design, architect, and manage scalable PostgreSQL and MySQL database systems for enterprise infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure database solutions including storage and network architecture.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data availability.
• Manage security protocols, access controls, and system hardening according to ASPR standards.
• Automate routine database tasks through scripting and management tools.
• Lead database-related projects, data migrations, and capacity planning for future growth.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration and architecture.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL DBA and MySQL DBA.
• Proven experience in database design, storage architecture, and network architecture.
• Hands-on experience with system hardening and security management.
• Ability to develop and test comprehensive backup and recovery processes.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting for database management.
• Experience managing data migration projects and application upgrades.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex database issues.
