Description

Manage and optimize large-scale Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments across production, UAT, QA, SIT, and DEV tiers.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle 19c RAC clusters on Exadata and manage Oracle GoldenGate for multi-master and unidirectional replication.
• Implement RMAN backup, recovery, and database cloning procedures.
• Execute database change implementations using DevOps automation.
• Perform proactive monitoring and implement performance tuning using ADDM, AWR, ASH, and SQL advisors.
• Manage data transfers using Export/Import, SQL Loader, and Data Pump.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of Oracle DBA experience.
• 3-6 years of PostgreSQL DBA experience.
• Expertise in Oracle 19c RAC clusters on Exadata.
• Proficiency in Oracle GoldenGate setup and configuration.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with logical and physical data modeling using ERStudio Data Architect.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle version upgrades and migrations.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Bash scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Linux utilities and system-level metrics.
• Understanding of virtualization and clustered environments.
