Description

You will manage and support the PostgreSQL environment, including physical database implementation and ongoing administration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage PostgreSQL database patching, upgrades, and migrations.
• Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Implement load balancing, high availability, and system optimization through database restructuring.
• Investigate and troubleshoot connectivity, performance degradation, and data inconsistencies.
• Perform database synchronization across multiple branches and provide root cause analysis for incidents.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of database administration experience.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL administration and management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and writing complex stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, or Azure Database.
• Experience managing operations on cloud-based infrastructure including AWS.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible.
• Deep understanding of database normalization, design, and performance tuning.
• Experience working within automated operation environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL.
