Description

Manage and optimize PostgreSQL environments while leading database migration projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate databases from DB2, Sybase, and Oracle to PostgreSQL.
• Architect high-scale clusters and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Set up PostgreSQL clusters using Enterprise Failover Manager or similar technologies.
• Lead system and SQL performance tuning to support business process integration.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on database design and application enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL open source.
• Experience with Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and IBM Db2.
• Strong UNIX/Linux shell scripting skills.
• Proven ability to architect HA/DR solutions.
• Experience configuring failover and hot standby solutions.

• Any graduate degree.
