Manage and maintain PostgreSQL database environments, specifically focusing on EDB architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage EDB PostgreSQL database architecture and internal structures.
  • Execute cluster management, version upgrades, and database migrations.
  • Utilize community-supported tools for database monitoring and management.
  • Maintain database connectivity and pooling configurations.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in database administration.
  • Deep knowledge of EDB PostgreSQL DB architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Pgbouncer.
  • Experience using Slony for replication.
  • Proficiency with PGAdmin for database management.
  • Experience configuring and managing Pgpool.
  • Proven track record of upgrading and migrating PostgreSQL versions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Pgbadger.
