Description

You will manage and maintain PostgreSQL database systems, focusing on development, performance tuning, and secure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain database schemas, including tables, views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution, indexing, partitioning, and resource utilization.
• Execute regular maintenance tasks such as backups, data integrity checks, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement version control for database objects and manage schema changes using tools like Git, Liquibase, or Flyway.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application releases and database migrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration (DBA).
• Expertise in database development, specifically creating tables, views, functions, and procedures.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.
• Experience with database versioning and change management processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of implementing access controls and encryption for database security.
• Experience managing database deployments and rollbacks.
• Any Graduate degree.
