Description

You will manage and maintain the PostgreSQL database infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily database management, monitoring, and backup/recovery operations.
• Design and implement scalable PostgreSQL architectures.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Linux Bash and shell scripting.
• Execute migrations from Oracle to PostgreSQL environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration and management platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Linux Bash and shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Oracle DBA skills and database migration strategies.
• Proven track record of delivering zero-defect production projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated monitoring tools for PostgreSQL.
• Background in large-scale Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
