Description

You will manage PostgreSQL infrastructure and lead database migrations from Oracle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Oracle databases to PostgreSQL, including converting PL/SQL to PL/pgSQL.
• Administer PostgreSQL instances on Linux environments.
• Implement and maintain PostgreSQL monitoring and backup/recovery strategies.
• Manage database performance, security, and high availability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
• Proven experience migrating Oracle databases to PostgreSQL.
• Strong proficiency in Linux Bash and Shell Scripting.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL management platforms and monitoring tools.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL backup and recovery mechanisms.
• Experience with Oracle DBA tasks and PL/SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating PL/SQL code to PL/pgSQL.
