You will manage and optimize PostgreSQL database environments and automate core operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex stored procedures and SQL scripts within PostgreSQL.
• Design and automate repetitive database administration tasks using scripting languages.
• Apply database normalization concepts to maintain data integrity.
• Solve complex analytical and technical database issues.
• Collaborate with teams within automated operations environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of database administration experience.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and SQL scripting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based database services including AWS, Google Cloud SQL, or Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in a scripting language for automation.
• Experience working in automated operations environments using tools like Ansible.
• Understanding of database normalization.
• Familiarity with other SQL or NoSQL databases such as MySQL.
