Description

You will manage and enhance data infrastructure while integrating AI capabilities and database administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and optimize PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, including tuning, backup/recovery, replication, and security.
• Design and implement database schemas, indexing strategies, and high-availability architectures.
• Develop and maintain Python applications, APIs, and automation scripts.
• Integrate Generative AI models (LLMs) into enterprise workflows and applications.
• Build data pipelines for AI/ML workloads, including data preprocessing and vector storage solutions.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in database administration.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle database administration.
• Proficiency in Python, including FastAPI and Flask frameworks.
• Experience with Generative AI frameworks, such as OpenAI APIs or LangChain.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
• Experience with vector databases, specifically postgres pgvector.
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
