Description

You will serve as a PostgreSQL DBA/Engineer managing and optimizing database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Tune performance and optimize complex queries using execution plans.
• Manage backup and recovery operations, including PITR and WAL management.
• Configure and maintain replication, failover, and High Availability (HA) setups.
• Execute PostgreSQL upgrades and database migrations.
• Ensure backup integrity and manage Block Streaming Replication (BSR).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL DBA/Engineer experience.
• Deep knowledge of vacuum/autovacuum tuning and index management (B-tree, BRIN).
• Expertise with AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with pg_basebackup and WAL management for recovery.
• Strong ability in production support and troubleshooting.
