Description

Develop and optimize database solutions for high-volume analytical projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain database code, including tables, stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, and triggers.
• Write complex queries and procedures to validate data hypotheses and extract insights.
• Measure database performance, troubleshoot IO bottlenecks, and perform query optimization.
• Manage indexes and tune database performance for high-volume workloads.
• Design database schemas using ER modeling to ensure data integrity and proper isolation levels.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total software development experience.
• 2-3+ years of specific experience as a PostgreSQL or Databricks developer on high-volume projects.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL architecture and database design principles.
• Deep understanding of query optimization, statistics, and index management.
• Experience with Oracle or other major database systems.
• Hands-on experience with JSON and PostgreSQL JSON support.
• Ability to analyze underlying data relevance for analytical use cases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on CRM-related projects.
