Description

You serve as the primary technical point of contact for PostgreSQL incidents, service requests, and migration support from Teradata.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve query performance issues, connection errors, and data anomalies.
• Collaborate with developers to debug stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Conduct walkthroughs and Q&A sessions to help teams experienced in Teradata understand PostgreSQL equivalents.
• Share cheat sheets and quick-reference guides for common PostgreSQL commands and workflows.
• Highlight key differences in syntax, optimization strategies, and tooling between Teradata and PostgreSQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Teradata systems.
• Proficiency in debugging stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Strong skills in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with SQL workflows and tooling.
