Description

You will serve as the primary technical authority for PostgreSQL 9.6 database environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL 9.6 databases in production.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and system configuration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, bottlenecks, and system errors.
• Design and implement database solutions in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
• Manage database migrations, upgrades, and security policy implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL 9.6 in a production environment.
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, internals, and administration.
• Advanced SQL and database design capabilities.
• Expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to provide technical guidance on PostgreSQL best practices.
