Description

You will manage and optimize PostgreSQL Community Edition environments using specialized toolsets across the technical stack.

Responsibilities

• Champion the use of PostgreSQL Community Edition tools and provide technical input during customer design and development meetings to improve code quality.
• Guide and train junior and mid-level staff on database tooling, processes, and best practices.
• Develop new solutions, standards, and operational plans to improve functional strategy.
• Install and document PostgreSQL tools to ensure operational consistency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in web component development using modern JavaScript, CSS, SASS, LESS, ES 6+, and Stencil.js.
• Senior level knowledge of EDB tools: EFM, PEM, and Migration Portal.
• Senior level knowledge of pgBackRest, pgBouncer, and pgPool.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL Community Edition on Linux.
• Proficiency with GIT/BitBucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and database best practices.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
