Description

You own the administration and engineering of the Power BI ecosystem, ensuring reliable data delivery and secure access.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement Git-based version control for Power BI assets and integrate with deployment pipelines for structured releases.
• Manage and optimize Azure Gateway connections for Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server to ensure efficient data refresh.
• Configure and maintain Azure AD group-based security for role-based access across workspaces and reports.
• Oversee dataset refresh performance, workspace capacity, and dataflow reliability, resolving stability issues.
• Automate recurring administrative tasks, including license audits and refresh monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in a data engineering or BI administration role.
• Expertise in Power BI development, administration, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience managing data connections and gateways to Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Strong practical knowledge of Azure services relevant to data governance and security.
• Ability to manage and enforce DLP policies within Power Apps and Power Automate environments.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining Power BI Dataflows and Datamart structures.
• Familiarity with implementing and maintaining version control using Git for BI assets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure AD group-based security configuration.
• Knowledge of dataflow reliability optimization.
