Description

Manage the Power BI platform, focusing on service configuration, system performance, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Power BI Service settings, resources, and cloud setups.
• Define governance approaches including gateway setups, capacity, license planning, and optimization.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues or vendor-related blockers.
• Develop administration documentation and implement automation via APIs and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration within Windows Server environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI administration.
• Deep understanding of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Server.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Service (cloud) and Microsoft Fabric administration.
• Proficiency with Azure environments.
• Experience with API-based automation and CI/CD implementation.
• Strong knowledge of data connections and data fetching processes from various sources.
• Ability to manage data modeling and capacity optimization.
• Experience working within Windows Server environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) within Microsoft Fabric.
• Exposure to other Business Intelligence tools.
