Description

You will manage the Power BI tenant, ensuring platform stability, security, and optimal resource utilization across the enterprise.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Power BI capacity, performance, and resource utilization to identify bottlenecks and optimize CU usage.
• Implement and enforce platform governance policies for workspace and dataset management.
• Automate administrative tasks and bulk actions using PowerShell and REST APIs.
• Manage user roles, permissions, and group assignments to maintain security compliance.
• Support Azure DevOps-based deployment pipelines and troubleshoot refresh or data access issues.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Power BI administration or data governance.
• Hands-on experience managing Power BI in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using REST APIs to interact with Power BI services and system logs.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell or other shell languages for automation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its associated data services.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting Azure DevOps deployment pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications in Power BI and Azure.
