Description

Own the administration and development of the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Power BI workspaces, datasets, dataflows, and governance policies.
• Administer, scale, and migrate Power BI Premium capacity to Microsoft Fabric capacity.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using efficient data modeling and DAX.
• Integrate data from various sources and maintain reusable data pipelines and datasets.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and mentor team members on best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Power BI administration and dashboard development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric capacity planning, architecture, and migration.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and advanced data modeling techniques.
• Experience integrating data from sources such as Azure Synapse or Data Lake.
• Ability to work independently and proactively identify process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft certifications in Power BI or Fabric.
• Experience automating administrative tasks using PowerShell or REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
