Description

You will architect and govern the organization's end-to-end Business Intelligence capabilities using Power BI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the entire Power BI architecture, covering dataflows, datasets, reports, workspaces, and gateways.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and operational reports, translating KPIs into intuitive visualizations.
• Optimize data models and queries to handle large data volumes by working with data engineering on ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Enforce Power BI development standards, managing version control and deployment processes across Dev/Test/Prod environments.
• Partner with business leaders to gather requirements, prioritize the BI roadmap, and mentor analysts on self-service BI standards.

Required Skills

• Strong, hands-on expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Solid experience with data modeling, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL skills and working experience with major RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and managing workspace security models.
• Architectural experience designing enterprise BI solutions across multiple environments.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Kimball/Inmon, star/snowflake schemas).
• 5+ years of professional experience in a BI architecture or senior development role.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for Power BI, such as using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with other visualization tools like Tableau.
