Description

You will architect and build enterprise-grade Power BI semantic layers and analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of Power BI semantic models aligned to enterprise data standards and curated data models (CDM/UDM).
• Design, build, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets for performance, usability, and complex DAX calculations.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and governed enterprise BI models to support self-service analytics across the organization.
• Integrate Power BI with GCP data sources including BigQuery, curated datasets, and feature stores or materialized views.
• Implement performance tuning techniques such as aggregation tables, query folding, and DAX optimization.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of overall experience in BI, analytics, or data engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI Service, Desktop, and advanced DAX.
• Proven experience architecting enterprise semantic layers and BI platforms.
• Strong expertise in Power BI semantic modeling and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience integrating Power BI with GCP, specifically BigQuery.
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake), semantic layer concepts, and data warehousing best practices.
• Experience working with cloud-native analytics and modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with data engineering pipelines (ELT/ETL).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with feature stores and materialized views in GCP.
