Description

You will design and implement Power BI environments within Microsoft Fabric to support large datasets and high user loads.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Power BI environments within Microsoft Fabric, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Develop data models, reports, and dashboards that align with business objectives and technical specifications.
• Build architecture roadmaps for Power BI and Fabric to guide implementation teams.
• Establish and lead a Center of Excellence for Power BI.
• Mentor development teams on best practices and conduct user training sessions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture or development.
• Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric workspaces, datamarts, and the Spark engine.
• Proven experience in database design and data transformation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, or DBT.
