Power BI Architect

You will lead the design, development, and optimization of Power BI and SQL Server environments during a major tool migration.

Responsibilities

• Build core semantic layer architecture and provide guidance on development and planning practices.
• Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
• Manage Power BI services, including workspace management, data gateway configuration, and user access control.
• Transform and shape data from multiple sources to create cohesive semantic models and dataflows.
• Collaborate with executive-level users to design advanced analytics and cognitive applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in architecture roles.
• Expertise in Power BI, including semantic modeling and dataflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and SQL Server optimization.
• Experience with ETL data integration and data warehousing.
• Proven ability to create data models, cubes, and semantic layers.
• Experience with Cognos BI reporting.
• Skill in managing Power BI administration and security settings.
• Ability to identify and develop mitigation strategies for project risks.
• Any Graduate degree.
