Description

Architect and design end-to-end BI and analytics solutions using Power BI and Azure data services.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data models, semantic layers, and Power BI dataset strategies.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Synapse pipelines.
• Lead the design and development of Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports.
• Define and enforce Power BI and Azure data governance and security standards.
• Monitor and optimize report performance, workloads, and compute costs across Azure and Power BI.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in BI architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query (M) transformations.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake (ADLS).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for BI assets.
• Understanding of data governance and security models (RLS/OLS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure data services beyond core ADF and Synapse.
