Description

Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end Power BI and Azure data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the creation of High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for semantic data models, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop architecture blueprints covering application, technical, and deployment layers.
• Manage report migrations from legacy platforms to Power BI using various methodologies.
• Design and implement complex reports, dashboards, scorecards, and real-time dashboards.
• Guide developers and leads while proactively clarifying requirements with business and IT stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence.
• Expertise in Power BI (Pro, Premium, Paginated), including Dataflows, Incremental refresh, and Row Level Security (RLS).
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and M language.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
• Proven ability to design DB schemas and data models using Medallion Architecture on RDBMS and DW.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Blob storage, and Azure Data Factory.
• Required PL-300 Certification.
• Experience programming and optimizing database objects, including Views, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
• Ability to work independently on technical architecture and client interactions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MS Fabric (Power BI and OneLake/Lakehouse components), Azure Databricks, or Azure Synapse.
• Familiarity with Tableau and GenAI/Copilot integrations for report development.
