Description

You will design and build scalable data pipelines, data models, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI and Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports using DAX and Power Query.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or equivalent tools.
• Optimize dashboard performance through DAX tuning, query optimization, and indexing.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, APIs, and Data Lakes.
• Automate refresh schedules, deployments, and monitoring using Power BI Service and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or BI Developer.
• Expert-level skills in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, or SQL.
• Experience with data ingestion, ETL/ELT design, and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and star/snowflake schema principles.
• Ability to optimize and scale large Power BI datasets (Import, DirectQuery, Composite Models).
• Knowledge of Git-based version control and deployment practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing data governance, security, and compliance practices across Power BI solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot report or data pipeline issues and provide root-cause analysis.
