Description

Design and implement complex Power BI reports and Azure Analysis Services (AAS) models for the Mexico location.

Responsibilities

• Design data flows, datasets, and incremental refresh processes.
• Collaborate with ETL developers to define KPI placement between the ETL and AAS layers.
• Optimize AAS models to ensure high performance and minimal resource usage.
• Validate KPI values in AAS against existing implementations.
• Integrate RLS and CLS rules within AD roles and develop real-time operational dashboards using direct query mode.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Expertise in designing complex Power BI reports.
• Strong experience with AAS models and advanced DAX query design.
• Experience with RLS and CLS implementation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work with direct query mode for real-time dashboards.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to build quick mock-ups and generate mock data for dashboard prototypes.
• Work directly with business users to capture reporting requirements.
