Description

You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Power BI semantic models and dashboards to drive business insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Power BI semantic models using star schema, snowflake, and dataflow techniques.
• Write complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and tables to support business logic and KPIs.
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards utilizing drill-throughs, bookmarks, and custom visuals.
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and views in Oracle and SQL Server environments.
• Manage Power BI Service components, including workspaces, gateways, refresh schedules, and RLS/OLS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• 5+ years of IT development experience.
• Expertise in semantic modeling, including star schema, dataflows, and composite models.
• Advanced DAX programming and Power Query (M language) skills.
• Solid SQL development experience in both Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience with Power BI administration, gateways, workspace governance, and capacity management.
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) semantic models (RPD).
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets in multi-system environments.
