Description

You design, develop, and maintain Power BI and Cognos dashboards, reports, and scorecards for business stakeholders.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Create complex data models, KPIs, measures, and calculated columns using DAX.
• Develop and optimize Power Query transformations and ETL processes.
• Integrate Power BI/Cognos with SQL Server, Azure, Oracle, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access controls while monitoring report performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Power BI development.
• Strong expertise with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Advanced SQL development and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft PL-300 Certification.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
