Description

Develop Power BI solutions to support expense analysis, budget proposals, and financial decision-making through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Scope BI solution sessions with business lines to capture objectives, prioritize opportunities, and create mock-up reports for proof-of-concept reviews.
• Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, including reviewing data loads for accuracy and completeness.
• Design, develop, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through customized dashboards.
• Configure Power BI to communicate information to business lines and manage JetDocs tickets using BPI techniques.
• Support testing, documentation, end-user training, and go-live activities for new implementations.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of experience using Microsoft Power BI analytics software.
• Proficiency in DAX, M, Power Query, and SQL for data extraction and integration.
• Experience in modeling, designing, developing, and testing data visualization or paginated report solutions.
• Strong understanding of complex relational database organization, design, and functionality.
• Ability to enhance business intelligence using Star Schema, joins, and subqueries.
• Experience developing and customizing Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate, flows, and SharePoint.
• Proven ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• 1-2 years of experience working within the Railroad or Transit industry.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with enterprise data analysis.
• Experience working in an Agile project delivery model.
