Description

You will own the end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports, ensuring high performance and accurate insights for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and interactive reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Implement advanced DAX calculations, including time intelligence, calculated columns, and measures, while optimizing for performance.
• Transform and shape data using Power Query (M language) and integrate with Azure-based sources such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Synapse.
• Manage workspace governance, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and deployment pipelines, following best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver iterative updates.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of proven expertise in Power BI development, including deep proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Strong experience with Azure data services: Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Synapse.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT concepts and familiarity with ADF or similar tools for data preparation.
• Proven ability to design scalable data models and optimize report performance.
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and managing Power BI workspaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of overall experience in Business Intelligence and data analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for Power BI, including Git-based workflows and deployment pipelines.
