Description

You will design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards to support Business Lending teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into optimized data models.
• Develop data models using DAX, Power Query, and SQL, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Integrate data from disparate sources including loan origination and core banking systems.
• Ensure BI solutions adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of existing BI solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer, preferably in Financial Services.
• Expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language).
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or Teradata.
• Experience with data modelling and ETL processes for integrating large datasets.
• Understanding of data governance and security within a banking context.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions while working with analysts and data engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Azure data stack (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.
