Description

You will build and deploy high-quality Power BI reports, working directly with end clients to define and document reporting requirements. You will connect to and aggregate data from diverse sources across the business data lifecycle, implementing security models and deployment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to define and document specific reporting needs.
• Build and deploy Power BI reports using diverse datasets and sources.
• Connect to and aggregate data from SQL, Azure Synapse, SharePoint, Excel, and CSV.
• Implement Power BI security models and deployment techniques.
• Deliver data-driven insights to the wider team.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of Power BI development experience.
• Strong proficiency in DAX and SQL.
• Solid understanding of SQL Data Warehousing and data modelling.
• Advanced data visualization skills using Power BI Desktop.
• Experience with data sources including SQL, Azure Synapse, SharePoint, Excel, and CSV.
• Proven ability to source and aggregate data within a business context.
• Prior Power BI development experience within a financial organization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in an insurance organization.
• Hands-on experience with MS Azure (ADF/Data Lake), Power Automate, or Python.
• A portfolio of previously developed example reports.
