Good to Have Skills: Experience in clinical trials, CROs, or life sciences environments. Knowledge of clinical trial operations datasets including CTMS and enrollment tracking. Exposure to ERP financial datasets, actuals, budgets, revenue recognition. Familiarity with Power BI performance tuning and capacity considerations. Experience working with centralized data warehouse teams and professional services environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Trial Operations, Project Finance, and Project Managers to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models, including DAX measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and table relationships.
• Build reusable, governed DAX measures aligned to approved KPI definitions and implement calculation groups with time intelligence.
• Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and refresh efficiency while ensuring correct business logic implementation.
• Translate business-defined KPIs into scalable analytical logic supporting trial execution, portfolio health, and financial performance metrics.
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to ensure analytics-ready data structures and validate dataset readiness.
• Implement and maintain row-level security, workspace permissions, and dataset access controls across environments.
• Develop certified datasets to enable self-service analytics and reduce ad hoc reporting across the organization.
• Provide training, documentation, and support to functional teams using Power BI dashboards and promote best practices.
• Serve as subject-matter expert on metric definitions, business rules, and reporting logic for stakeholders.

Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience developing enterprise Power BI solutions with strong expertise in DAX, Power BI semantic modeling, Power Query, and SQL. Experience building analytics for executive and operational audiences, working with operational or financial datasets, and translating business logic into analytical models.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Finance, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
