Description

You will design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions using Power BI, Azure, and Power BI Report Server.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement analytics solution architectures and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Create and maintain Power Pivot models, datasets, and dataflows using established best practices.
• Administer the Power BI Report Server environment across development and production.
• Manage report security, folder security, database row-level security, and distribution schedules.
• Define and document setup and configuration parameters for analytics solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and data architecture.
• Deep technical knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Azure development tools.
• 2+ years of experience with Power BI Report Server administration.
• 2+ years of experience with advanced MDX and DAX expressions.
• 2+ years of experience with data modeling using Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Strong PL/SQL development skills with the ability to write complex, nested SQL queries.
• Experience with Azure dataflows.
• Experience using source control (TFS) and defect tracking (VSTS) software.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with visual design concepts for dashboards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of P&C Insurance systems and processes.
