Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Automate report deployment, data refresh, and environment setup using PowerShell scripts.
• Implement DevOps best practices for BI solutions including version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Manage data models, DAX expressions, Power Query, and data visualization best practices.
• Optimize Power BI performance and ensure data security and compliance.
• Develop and maintain deployment pipelines via tools like Azure DevOps, Git, or similar platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report rendering, data refresh, or deployment.
• Document processes, deployment procedures, and architecture diagrams.
• Keep updated with the latest Power BI features, PowerShell scripting techniques, and DevOps tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Power BI report/dashboard development.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, for deployment and automation.
• Knowledge of banking and capital markets processes, data security, and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with other scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or other cloud data services.
• Understanding of security best practices in BI deployment.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
