Description

Design end-to-end Power BI architectures and lead development teams through complex implementation requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Resolve Power BI issues, support paginated reports, and maintain project security.
• Implement change-management processes for migrating projects between QA, UAT, and production.
• Manage data recovery, backup processes, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in Power BI implementation, development, and migration.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Gateway, Service, and Report Server.
• Experience creating paginated reports using Report Builder and migrating SSRS/Tabular reports.
• Advanced DAX query building and Power Query M proficiency.
• Experience implementing static and dynamic Row Level Security and dataset design.
• Strong SQL reporting skills, including writing queries and creating SQL views.
• Knowledge of relational database structures and Azure environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale enterprise Power BI implementations and building a Center of Excellence (COE).
• Integration experience with R and Python.
• Ability to modernize legacy reports from Excel and Tableau to Power BI.
