Description

You will design, develop, and administer Power BI reporting solutions and data models. You own the end-to-end delivery of visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards. You ingest and transform data from corporate sources using Power BI Query Editor, UI, and M code. You build tabular and multidimensional models that align with warehouse standards. You implement row-level security and application security layers. You integrate reports into other applications via embedded analytics or API automation. You provide technical guidance through prototyping, testing, build, and launch phases.

Responsibilities

• Build visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop.
• Ingest and transform data from various corporate sources using Power BI Query Editor, UI, and M code.
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards.
• Implement row-level security and application security layer models.
• Integrate Power BI reports into other applications via embedded analytics or API automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, M code, and Power BI Queries.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing stored procedures, dynamic SQL, and query optimization.
• Experience with the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack: SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes, fact and dimension tables, and snowflake schemas.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SQL Data Warehouse, and PolyBase.
• Experience using Visual Studio for BI development.
• Ability to manage data connectivity, importing, and transformation for BI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with API automation.
