Description

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data refreshes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Power BI dashboards, dataset refreshes, and gateway status using service logs and alerts.
• Perform first-level remediation for failures in visuals, data models, or refresh schedules.
• Collaborate with Azure Engineers to validate backend refresh issues involving ADF or Databricks.
• Conduct daily validation checks for critical reports following refresh cycles.
• Resolve report-related service requests, including access issues, broken visuals, and workspace moves within SLA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Strong SQL querying and data modeling expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Service, including gateways, workspaces, and sharing.
• Knowledge of row-level security (RLS) and role-based sharing.
• Understanding of Power BI governance best practices.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Azure SQL, Synapse, or Databricks as backend data sources.
