Description

You will design and build Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models, owning the full lifecycle from data modeling to governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Paginated (RDL) reports using Power BI Report Builder for large-scale distribution.
• Optimize report performance for On-prem and Cloud databases via DirectQuery, implementing query folding and column pruning.
• Manage Power BI Premium P1 capacity by monitoring memory usage, CPU load, and auto-scaling.
• Maintain governance standards including RLS/OLS, sensitivity labels, and report lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot data gateways and performance issues down to the SQL/query plan level.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence and data modeling.
• Expertise in Power BI Desktop, Service, Apps, Workspaces, and Deployment Pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Extensive experience with Power BI Report Builder and Paginated Reports.
• Deep understanding of DirectQuery behavior and optimization with Oracle or Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Metrics App for capacity tracking.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of implementing RLS, OLS, and sensitivity labels for security.
• Ability to design unified models across multiple integrated systems.
