Description

Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for enterprise analytics.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data models, KPIs, calculations, and measures using DAX and Power Query.
• Integrate Power BI with BigQuery, Databricks, Oracle, or similar data sources.
• Optimize report performance, dataset refreshes, and query execution.
• Translate business requirements into analytics solutions and support UAT and production releases.
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs for quality and compliance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of BI/Analytics experience, including 4+ years in Power BI development.
• Hands-on expertise with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), Semantic Models, RLS, Workspace Administration, Deployment Pipelines, and Data Gateway Management.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience with Google Cloud BigQuery, Databricks, and/or Oracle Database.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
• Ability to create effective prompts and validate AI-generated outputs.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred Skills

• Python or PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Power BI REST APIs and CI/CD/DevOps practices for deployments.
• Microsoft Power BI Certification.
